Clarity > volume. Executive summary first.

Quick truth: I used to bury people in context. It didn’t build trust - it blurred it. What works:

  • Executive summary first. 2–3 sentences: key point, conclusion, recommendation. Let skimmers stop there.
  • Tailor to the audience. Headlines for skimmers; details for divers. Same message, different depth.
  • Find your “clear enough.” The right level of clarity for this audience, this moment.

Try this:
TL;DR: We’re blocked by X. I recommend Option B (faster, same quality). I’ll proceed by EOD unless concerns. Details below if helpful.
